Tissue is a play concerning Breast Cancer, and Sally, a 29-year-old, coming to terms with the problems of losing a breast. Sally remembers her childhood and the things people have said and done to her. The woman plays many parts from mother to nurse, and the man from father to doctor. All of them revolve around Sally, as a child, as a teenager, as a patient. An intricate and moving play.
Won Best Production and Best Design in the Ceredigion One Act Play Festival. Performed in aid of Breakthrough, an organisation assisting women who have had breast cancer.
